How admission works

Four steps, published dates, no surprises

The process is identical for every applicant. There is no management quota and no donation of any kind.

  1. Registration

    Complete the online registration form and pay the non-refundable registration fee of ₹500. Registration does not guarantee admission.

  2. Document verification

    Bring the originals listed below to the school office. The clerk will verify and return them the same day.

  3. Interaction

    Nursery to Class II: an informal play-based interaction with the child and a short conversation with parents. Class III upward: a written assessment in English, Mathematics and the child’s science/social science level.

  4. Offer & confirmation

    Selected candidates receive a written offer by email and post. Admission is confirmed on payment of the first term fee within fourteen days.

Fee structure

What it costs, in full

Fees are charged quarterly, in advance. There are no separate charges for laboratory, library, computer, sports or examination. Transport is optional and billed by route distance.

One-time at admission

Registration ₹500 (non-refundable) and an admission charge of ₹12,000, payable once on joining.

Transport

₹1,100 to ₹1,900 per month by route distance, billed quarterly with the tuition fee.

Concessions

Sixty need-based concessions each year; a standing 15% for children of serving armed-forces personnel.

Paperwork

Documents to bring

Originals are verified at the counter and returned immediately. Only photocopies are retained.

Birth certificate

Issued by a municipal authority. A photocopy is retained; the original is returned at the counter.

Transfer certificate

Required for Class II and above, countersigned by the education officer if the previous school was outside Jharkhand.

Report card

The last two years’ progress reports from the previous school.

Address & ID proof

Aadhaar of the child and either parent, plus one proof of current residence.

Medical record

Immunisation record and a note of any allergy, condition or medication.

Photographs

Four passport-size photographs of the child and one of each parent.

Leaving the school

Transfer certificate

Apply in writing to the Principal with at least fifteen days’ notice, stating the reason and the month of leaving. The transfer certificate is issued within seven working days once all dues are cleared and library books returned.

The first copy carries no charge. A duplicate, if required later, is issued against a written request and a fee of ₹300.

For students who have appeared in a CBSE board examination, the TC is countersigned by the school and carries the board roll number.
